Its been so CRAZY....Bring Spring On, Pretty Please!!!!

Its still abit cold here in these parts, but I'm so ready for springtime and all that it brings....warm days, flowers, gardening and so much more....I've noticed in the last week that my daffodils are starting to bloom and I just love it!!!

Its been a couple of crazy weeks here in our household....Kaleb got his NEW cast on Monday afternoon....and I had to take him back in this morning to have another one, their was a sharp piece that was rubbing his skin and only getting worse. On Monday, the ortho doctor said that kaleb should hopefully have his cast off in three weeks....just in time for summer!!!!

Danielle's Team "Lady Tarheels" lost their All-star basketball game on Saturday....they were all so bummed and disappointed, but they ALL gave 100% and had an AWESOME season. The team will have their end of the season barbeque on Saturday afternoon.....and in a couple months, Danielle starts basketball camp that will last for about 8 months, its abit pricey, but so worth it!!

On the homefront, Bill and I decided to buy a NEW washer & dryer and of course, I was on board with that, especially with all the laundry I do and the fact that our dryer just broke and the warranty had run out in December!!! And can I just say....I AM IN LOVE!!!!

But before they were delivered, I told Bill that I wanted to paint the laundry room....it always looks so disgusting and so he was so sweet and painted it for me before he left on this work trip. LOVE it!!! And yes, we paid the extra $$ for the pedestals.....When Bill gets back from this trip, I think we are going to buy 2 cabinets to go above the washer and dryer. Aren't they pretty???

Survivor is BACK ON and I'm so glad.....LOVE this show. I'm also doing the Survivor Challenges over at Tallyscrapper and here is my layout for Week 2:

I've been super busy, so I haven't had alot of time to scrap, but I did get this cute heart mini album done....that I just love!!!

Well, the day started off good on Friday, had lunch with a good friend, Bill and I got a NEW washer and dryer....which we had been thinking about doing anyways, but then my dryer went out on Thursday...so it was pretty much fate that we get NEW ones......we decided to go ahead and get the big Front loaders and figured in the long run, this would save us some $$ on our water & Electricity Bills!! So we went to Lowe's and got the Electrolux largest capacity Washer and Dryer.....which was my idea, anything to help with the laundry, because I get so behind with it all. This is the set we got.....

I can't wait to get these, they are going to be delivered on Monday...Woohoo :)

Then on my way home from Lowe's, I was rear-ended.....I think she was going about 30-35 and I was about stopped and she ran straight into the back of my car....she was in a really low older Mazda sports car and basically went up under my trailblazer....really not much damage to my car, that we can see, but alot to her car though....her front lights were smashed, front hood, etc.

I'm just thankful that I didn't have any kids with me....luckily Danielle had stayed after school for a Valentine's Dance, so I didn't have her or the other boy that I normally pick up everyday and Kaleb rides home with a neighbor....so thankful for that!!!

I had alittle neck pain and a headache last night, but today seem to feel better, except for the headache, so I will probably go get checked out on Monday, to be just safe. So that is basically my drama for the week.....lol.

On other NEWS.....Survivor has started again, woohoo.....which means the "Survivor Challenges" over at Tallyscrapper are BACK ON, these are probably my favorite challenges that we do....so excited!!!! Come check them out!!!!

Whoa, what a frickin' Crazy Week and I'm so glad that it is about over and the weekend it here!!!!

So I've finally gotten a chance to sit down and work on a couple of things that I needed to get done...My Art Journal "Clearly", TMIR for January and a little SNEAK Peek on something else that I have been working on.....

And then I finished my January "Tally Year in Review" Challenge, as well....it was all about the flu epidemic that we had going through our house, our first snow here in good ol' NC and Kaleb breaking his "OTHER" arm.....what a month!!!!

I've been working on a little project that I'm just so happy with it, but I can only give ya a sneaky Peek right now....

Good News!!!

Well, Kaleb and I went to Orthopedics yesterday to have his arm X-rayed again, to make sure that the bones hadn't slipped...its been 2 weeks since he broke his arm and the doctor said that it looked like it had moved just abit in the cast, but nothing serious....but let me just tell you, when I saw the Xray yesterday....my heart just sank, because I could tell that it had shifted, but they don't seem to think it will be a problem. So that means, he goes back in 2 weeks for another Xray and a NEW cast(a smaller one)....WOOHOO :) Now to keep that boy from falling again!!!!

Pure Craziness

It's been awhile since I last updated, lets see....Kaleb broke his arm 2 weeks ago today and then Bill left for Beaufort, SC, the next day and then we got the god awful Flu in our house...first it was me.....started last Saturday EARLY morning and I was in the bed ALL weekend....my poor kids, I think they ate cereal for breakfast, lunch and dinner that day....lol!!!! And then on Monday morning, Kaleb woke up with it and was home from school both Monday and Tuesday. Danielle came home from school yesterday not feeling well and laid on the couch the entire night....but she went to school this morning.....so we will see. So in the meantime...I have been spraying/wiping down EVERYTHING in my house...LoL!!! Gotta love Lysol & Clorox wipes!!!


Also, just got my Treasured Scrapbooking February Kit....and I've been having some fun playing with it!!
