....I got to meet some amazing women for the first time and got to spend some time with ladies that I got to meet in SC at the last TallyRally....Love you guys!!! We spent alot of time drinking, scrapping and stripping, heehee!!! (Some pictures will not appear, well...just because...lol)

Here is the Retreat we stayed at in Temple, TX....Rockin'-R-Retreat. Such an AWESOME place and thanks for everything Rena!!!!
It was in the middle of now where, with lots and lots of corn and you can just imagine what some of us did with the corn....just take a look at this corn....

The Treasured Hunt 2009...Our Biggest Contest of the Year

WOW, I can't believe it's been a year since I participated in the Treasured Hunt, but it was so much fun and its here again.....Check it OUT....And to be eligible, ALL you have to do...is UPLOAD your favorite layout........

It's here - our biggest contest of the year - The Treasured Hunt! This will be a six week contest. To enter, upload your very best layout into the Treasured Hunt gallery-Eligibility Entries category by 9pm (EST) Friday July 31st. The Design Team will vote and the top 25 entries will move on to compete in the contest. Following is the timeline of the contest:

Eligibility Round - deadline Friday, July 31th - 9pm (EST) Sun Aug 2 - 25 contestants announced

1st round Tues Aug 4- 1st challenge announced Mon Aug 10 - deadline to upload entries (9pm EST)

2nd round Tue Aug 11 - announcement of 20 contestants moving on/2nd challenge posted Mon Aug 17 - deadline to upload entries (9pm EST)

3rd round Tue Aug 18 - announcement of 15 contestants moving on/3rd challenge posted Mon Aug 24 - deadline to upload entries (9pm EST)

4th round Tue Aug 25 - announcement of 10 contestants moving on/4th challenge posted Mon Aug 31 - deadline to upload entries (9pm EST)

5th round Tue Sep 1 - announcement of 5 contestants moving on/5th challenge posted Mon Sep 7- deadline to upload entries (9pm EST)

6th round Tue Sep 8 - announcement of 3 contestants moving on/6th and final challenge posted Mon Sep 14- deadline to upload entries (9pm EST)

WINNER ANNOUNCED - on or before September 17

After the 25 contestants are chosen, weekly challenges will be posted on Tuesdays and entries must be posted in the appropriate challenge gallery by the following Monday at 9pm (EST).

Pages will be judged on photography, creativity, originality, relativity to challenge theme and overall design. Winners for each round will be determined by the Design Team and myself.

Please pay close attention to the requirements of each challenge! Ask questions if you need clarification! Any deviation from the challenge requirements listed will result in disqualification. This is only to be fair to those who follow all of the requirements. We ask that all entries be posted only to the Treasured Scrapbooking gallery until the end of the contest or elimination.

PRIZES!! (Now to the good part!)
GRAND PRIZE: Prize Package worth over $250 of scrapbooking supplies and a $50 gift certificate to the Treasured Scrapbooking store!!

2nd prize: $40 Treasured Scrapbooking Gift Certificate

3rd prize: $25 Treasured Scrapbooking Gift Certificate

All submissions must be original designs. Layouts submitted for any round of the contest (except the original eligibility entries) must be posted only in the TS gallery until the end of the contest or elimination and must not be published, posted or entered in any contest, in any magazine or on any website until the end of the contestant's participation in the contest. Exception: layouts may be posted on your personal blog.

You must be an active member of TS to participate in the contest. Don't worry newbies...this doesn't eliminate you...as long as you actively participate in the forum/gallery once you join, you're good to go!!

Wow, where has the month of June gone already....

I can't believe its the last day of June already....and Summer is just about 1/2 over. So much going on right now.....I can't believe that the Texas TallyRally is in 9 days...YEP, 9 DAYS!! Woohoo, I'm so excited...I can't stand it. But man, do I need to get my 35 Atc's done for the rally and I need to get them done now. I did finish up a few projects for the Rally, one is a "shhhhhh" project and the other is the cover to the Album Christine is getting us all for the Rally...Check it out....


Danielle and I went out of town last weekend to Ryan's(her "boyfriend" and my godson) Birthday party, Bill and Kaleb stayed behind, because kaleb wanted to attend one of his friends bday parties...so it was kind of nice, being just her and me for the weekend!!! Danielle had a blast hanging with all of Ryan's friends and playing air-soft in the woods with them all!!

And let me tell you, one of the boys playing airsoft guns had the set up with a full guillie suit...it was so cool. And of course, Pam had to try it on and of course, I had to get pics ;)

WooHoo Wednesday!!!

Well, we finally made it to the Orthopedic doctor yesterday for Danielle's bummed knee and of course, they found something on the xray and have decided to send her in for a MRI, which was this afternoon. Plus, they had her fitted for a Knee brace and she is suppose to start physical therapy next week.....all from running around in the woods playing with the boys...lol!!! Apparently, the tech taking the MRI showed her, her knee on the computer....she said it was pretty gross looking.
So basically NO impact sports, so NO basketball at all for awhile, NO running(yeah right), but she can swim in a pool, just no jumping into the pool and NO beach, because of the waves.

But she's good, we are headed to Raleigh this weekend for her "boyfriends" birthday party.....so she's excited about that. It will be nice to get out of town for a couple of days.

Also, this weekend.....Treasured Scrapbooking is having a "Summer's Out" Crop, so drop by and play with us....lots of awesome challenges and prizes!!!!

It's Monday and I have lots and lots to reveal........

I can NOT believe its been a month since my last post, that is terrible...just haven't been in the mood to do any blogging, I guess!! Alot of stuff is going on....BIG NEWS though, not even a month till the Texas TallyRally...WoOHOO!!! I am so ready for a nice long weekend break.

Both of the kids are now officially on Summer Break and they were so ready for this, but I'm already getting, "I'm bored" mom....But we have alot of FUN things planned for this summer, first off, we are heading out to Raleigh this weekend to my BFF's house. Its Ryan's 12th birthday and of course Danielle was NOT about to miss her "boyfriends" bday party...Whatever!! Can I just say, I'm SO not ready for this and to top it off, yesterday she went to a friends bday party, the girl was turning 13 and she has a 16 year old boyfriend and they were kissing in front of all of them, Danielle was like, "mom, she was kissing with tongue"...Danielle was like....."ewwwww"...thank god!!! Then the mom asked them if they wanted to play "Spin the Bottle"....WTH? These are 12 & 13 year old girls....Thank god Danielle DID NOT play, she said she just watched.....So I basically told Danielle...NO MORE GOING OVER TO THAT FRIENDS HOUSE, apparently there is NO Adult Supervision there....Unbelievable. Thank god it was just a 4 hour party. I am so happy that Danielle feels comfortable enough to talk to me about this stuff.

I take Danielle in to the Orthopedic Surgeon tomorrow for her appt. since she hurt her knee last month, I do believe she is okay, it just bothers her abit, so I guess I will see what the doc says.

Well, and on a sad note, Christine just announced that she is giving up Tally, she is following her dream to get back into the workplace, which is amazing....So happy for you girl!!!! So where does that leave my second home, I have NO idea right now...I'm hoping someone will buy this wonderful site and run with it....We'll see!!! But if not, it has been a wonderful place for me the last 2 1/2 years, I've made so many wonderful lifelong friends, but most of all, Thank YOU Christine for putting this wonderful place together and I'm honored that I got to share it with you girl. Can't wait to have a drink with ya in less than a month chick....WOOHOO!!

Okay, enough crying.....LOL!!!

Woohoo, I'm ready for the weekend baby....So today is May 15th, yep and its time to show you my Reveals for the Awesome May kit from Treasured Scrapbooking....LOVED this kit!!! So many goodies in it.....

I altered a Paper Mache 3-D Star, this was so easy to do and the instuctions will be in the May Newsletter, so keep a lookout...

Also did a couple of layouts.....

Heehee, yes this is my very CRAZY daughter making silly faces on my sliding glass door...

of course, I think she's just adorable ;)

Also, on this layout, I used a few items that I got from my Whimsey Jar Buddy, Jen(scraps4two)...the cute little worm, stars and the arrow....so thanks girl :)
