ScrapFit Design Team Call and BIG Changes

Hello all of my fabulous friends, I know its been forever since I've updated my blog and I will catch everyone up in the next day or so...but I wanted to go ahead and give you guys heads up about the ScrapFit Design Team Call that is going on....
Not only is their a DT CALL, but big changes are in store for ScrapFIT too!!!
I've been with ScrapFit now going on a year and have LOVED working with Kelly and all of the fabulous Fitgirls. Unfortunately, Kelly has decided to step down from ScrapFit and hand it over to someone else and thankfully one of our own fitgirls, Sara Zenger is going to take it over. I'm really excited for Scrapfit and for Sara to see what the coming year, has in store for us...I hope all of you atleast tryout for this DT, its a great one to be on!!!

Here are all of the details:
ScrapFIT Design Team Call

February – July
Submission Deadline – December 30th

ScrapFIT (www.scrapfit.blogspot.com) is a growing scrapbook challenge blog that will give you a real workout! We have 2 workouts (challenges) per month and they are sure to push you out of your comfort zone and inspire you to try something new! We are looking for 10 fun and creative designers (aka -FITgirls!) for our February - July term! We are also looking to fill 6 Guest Designer spots, one for each month (Feb- July). If you would like to be considered for only Guest DT spot, please note in your submission.

FITgirl Requirements:
*You must have an active blog
*You must be commit to 2 layouts per month based on our challenges
*A person who enjoys inspiring others
*Someone who is committed and turns in projects on time
*Someone with enthusiasm for ScrapFIT and their challenges and the dedication to help promote ScrapFIT through their own blog and other site they participate in.


What To Expect From ScrapFIT:
Although this is not a paying gig we can help spread the word about your scrapbooking awesomeness!

its been a rough week....

Well, I've been dealing with some

medical issues that I have been putting

off for about a year now and honestly, I

can't put them off any longer, so the time has

come for me to get my butt in gear and

do something about it. So, I haven't been

scrapping alot here the last couple of weeks,

but I have managed to get a couple of things

done...

First off, TODAY is Reveal day over at ScrapFit!!

Another fabulous Workout #30...

"Color Me HappY"

its a color challenge,

I want to see Black, Orange, Lime green and Purple.

Use a solid colored Cardstock, in one of these colors,

as your base--the rest is up to You!!

Use this photo from BG Eerie Line, as inspiration.

these photos crack me up...Danielle had gotten this candy

eyeballs for her birthday and honestly, the kids both

thought they were disgusting...not good at all....so what

do you do with them NOW...you PLAY with them, so I caught

Kaleb playing with them and putting them in his eyes...so I

couldn't help but to take some pics of my crazy son.

Where have I been???

Oh man, I haven't blogged in forever...

No excuses though, just incredibly busy, I think??

So what have I been up to?

Well, we went to Virginia Beach over Labor Day Weekend

to visit our friends Gene, Rachel and Janessa

that moved up there recently...had a wonderful time!!

Here's just a few of the pics that I got while we

were there....our goofy kids....

So its back to the grind, kids in school, getting

myself back on some sort of schedule...hmmm, don't

think its working!! Bill's been traveling alot lately, so

So hectic here lately.....

Isn't it suppose to slow down,
when the kids go back
to school????
Well, it has been a craZy week...
Bill had his throat surgery last
Wednesday and is doing great!!
Thank you to everyone for the prayers
and well wishes, its greatly appreciated!!!
Well, both kids have started back to school,
Danielle is in her last year at New Bridge Middle
and I think she likes being top dog over there
this year!! Kaleb has started 3rd grade and seems
to like his teacher...we'll see!!! He has also started
soccer again and the games should be starting
soon!!!
We are heading out of town this weekend to Virginia Beach
to visit some good friends of ours, that moved there
recently...we're going to spend the day at Busch Gardens,
the kids are super excited, but honestly I super excited to get
out of J'ville for a weekend!!!
So, I've been on the computer all morning, getting things
ready for a couple of REALLY cool Challenges we have coming up!!

Yeah, Survivor is coming back in a few weeks, I'm so excited.
This is the one show that Bill and I religiously watch
together...Can't wait for Sept. 15th!!

So that means that we are starting up the "Survivor" Challenges over at
Tallyscrapper!! I just love these challenges, they get me really

Challenge #16: Your LOVE hurts Me

It's funny how people hurt the ones they love the most.
Sometimes is it so toxic you have to cut them off, sometimes you
can handle it but it's a daily struggle, sometimes you just avoid it
altogether. This challenge is all about those who love to hurt you
or just blindly hurt you while saying, "I love you".
No it might not be intentional, but it still hurts.


Maybe its the sister who constantly says how horrible your
children are, or the friend who always criticizes your weight.
Or the parent who only sees their child who makes mistakes
and does not acknowledge your accomplishments.

Its ok to see the pain, and its ok to still love them.

It's therapeutic to be aware!!

Liz aka Javagirl is the owner of this

Up till this point, Thoughts2paper has been a

I used lots and lots of stickles (all over the

butterfly and then outlined the ghost butterfly

with more yellow stickles, added some Stardust

stickles to the stamped sentiment and added

some HS black bling)

OMG, I'm so Happy and Excited!!!!

I have some fantastic NEWS to share...but I can't quite announce it yet. As soon as its officially announced, then I will share with all of my friends!!! I have to thank my good friend, Cristal...Love you girl!! And of course, the sweet lady that is putting this all together.

I don't think so!! From the playground to kindergarten to High School
and beyond....life's little games.
It's so easy to get caught up in the emotional games,
material games and power games as an adult.
This challenge is all about recognizing those games.

to one up eachother? Or you have a friend that is always trying
to drag you into their drama. Whether we like to admit it or not,

Happy Birthday to ME and ScrapFit!!!!

First off, I want to thank everyone

for ALL of the

Birthday Wishes

that I got by email, Facebook

and websites!! I had a good

birthday, okay an interesting birthday!!

My kids and hubby made me

breakfast in bed before my hubby left

for San Diego, CA.(cuz he wouldn't be

here over my bday) Well, he was

suppose to be gone for three weeks,

and ended up in the ER in SanDiego and found

out he has a herniated disc and so they sent

him home early, with screwed up flights, he didn't

manage to get home til Sunday, on my bday.

I had to drive to Raleigh to pick him up, so it

wasn't the day I had planned, but atleast he was

home with us!!

Speaking of Birthday's...
